This raises an important query: In what way is Rosie sufficiently strong to elevate Alastor above every other Demonic Sinners?

“The agreement between Rosie and Alastor is the initial building block in a larger narrative that encompasses a great deal, moving into the third season,” the showrunner states. “Obviously that is an excellent question: How is she that powerful? The solution could be various factors, but the revelation is in season three. I am thrilled for fans to see it.”

Questions Answered in Season 3

The creator assures that the upcoming season will address the questions followers have been posing, like why the cannibal leader commanded Alastor to disappear for seven years, which diminished his power in the infernal realm.

“The entire seven-year span, and the deals these humans are making, and everything — it contributes to a bigger narrative,” she reveals.

Meanwhile, the origin story episode offers a further look into what the main characters of Sinner Demons looked like as humans, the second after viewing Sir Pentious’ Victorian-era human form in the second episode. The creator says that significant consideration went into the visual creation of these forms.

“The mortal forms of the characters carry so much weight,” she notes. “They range from looking really different from their infernal version to looking very similar. With the first character, the first one we see, there was some internal discussion within the team between choosing something that represents the character, as opposed to going with something that's very time-period accurate. We leaned toward making something that just seemed like it was him.”

She says the primary controversy over the mortal look of Pentious was his lengthy locks: “We were like, ‘Nobody typically had extended hair of that style in that historical period.’ But at the same time, we believe the outline is extremely crucial, and we also just thought he looked good. We were like, ‘This seems correct.’ We kind of provided the rationale that he's a hermit, so he just let his hair grow out. So there's always a way. As we design the mortal forms of these personas […] it's such a fun thing to investigate and determine. I am looking forward for people to view additional of the appearances of the human versions.”
