Flyers on the airline can soon use fast internet in the air free of charge due to a new partnership from the billionaire's satellite company.

No-cost and Fast Wifi for All

The airline announced that the no-cost, “fast and dependable” connectivity service from the satellite provider is set to be available for travelers in coach, premium economy, or first class starting next month.

Expanded Deployment Throughout Several Carriers

The parent company for the airline, IAG, confirmed it had finalized an deal with Starlink for providing wifi coverage on over 500 jets operated by the group's operators, including Aer Lingus, the Spanish carrier, plus the low-cost airline.

Seamless Wifi from Gate through Landing

British Airways stated that the implementation for the service was part of a multi-billion pound “upgrade” initiative and will provide smooth wifi coverage to travelers from the gate through arrival, also when they are flying above seas or far-off locations.
